4. Hot to the Touch
When your joints are affected with pain, there is a good chance that they may also feel warm to the touch. The knee joints especially have been known to be warm to the touch when pain is in full force. When this happens, the cells in the knee joint are releasing stress hormones that breakdown the joint space. Once the stress hormones break down the joint area, there is not much you can do for the joint other than pain shots and possible replacement therapy. Talk to your doctor if your joint area has been warm to the touch and pain is present.
