11 Fruits & Vegetables That Are Actually Bad For You

Bell Peppers

Bell peppers

A common ingredient in a lot of Mexican food, the bell pepper can actually cause inflammation within the body, which in turn causes problems like diabetes and even heart disease. Some studies have shown that the alkaloid called solanine can interrupt regular nerve function which ultimately causes twitching or convulsions. Most people will have no problem eating the bell pepper (as long as it’s not in excess), but if you have arthritis or osteoarthritis, it’s not a good idea not to eat this vegetable.
